Nia Jax, Brie Bella, and others send congratulatory messages as ex-WWE star gets married

Several WWE Superstars and other wrestling personalities have sent their heartfelt wishes to a former WWE star on her wedding. The former star in question, Alicia Fox, announced her wedding to her partner on her official Instagram handle.

Alicia and musician Michael Fitzgerald got engaged two years ago. The couple has now tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by friends and family. The pictures were shared by Fox on her official Instagram handle.

Alicia Fox was relieved when she exited WWE last year

Alicia Fox's 17-year run with World Wrestling Entertainment ended last year when her contract expired. In a chat with MuscleManMalcolm shortly after, the 38-year-old explained why she was relieved following her exit from the Stamford-based promotion. Here's what she said:

"I was like, okay (when I received word that my time with WWE was ending). I think I honestly… I was relieved, and still relieving completely. I think the difference between myself and like, another person is a chunk of 17 consecutive years. It has nothing to do with the particular company… I’m still processing a consecutive 17 years. But, the other afterburn that happens like, man, well at 17, what else would you think this was? What else did you think?" [H/T POST Wrestling]

It has been a while since Alicia Fox wrestled her last match in the Stamford-based promotion. Her final outing in the company came at the 2022 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. At the PLE, she competed in the Women's Royal Rumble Match that was eventually won by Ronda Rousey.
