Nia Jax's three-word message to 25-year-old WWE star after betrayal tease on SmackDown
Nia Jax is heading for a collision course against WWE Women's Champion Bayley at SummerSlam. But it appears she has more to worry about.
Jax has a newfound friendship with Tiffany Stratton, who walked out of Toronto last week as the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank winner. Stratton and The Irresistible Force appeared to be on the same page in the opening segment of this past Friday's SmackDown, but then Barbie attempted to go behind Jax's back.
Despite a cash-in tease and Nia's suspicious look towards Stratton, the 2024 Queen of the Ring is unfazed by what was implied on Friday. Taking to Instagram, she assured this to the 25-year-old:
"That's my girl," wrote Nia Jax, pointing to Tiffany Stratton's reaction to Bayley's comments on Jax.
Bayley's run as Women's Champion on SmackDown in 2024 commenced on The Grandest Stage of Them All when she defeated her former protégé Iyo Sky. The 2024 Women's Royal Rumble winner is riding high on a wave of momentum right now, but all of that could change come SummerSlam on August 3.
Bayley is one of WWE's MVPs in Triple H's eyes; can The Role Model survive The Irresistible Force?
A few months prior to the Royal Rumble event in January 2024, where Bayley joined the elite list of Rumble winners, Triple H singled out The Role Model for her contributions to the women's division. The Game called her one of World Wrestling Entertainment's unsung heroes.
"To me, the all-star, the unsung all-star of that women’s division, Bayley just continues to prove why she is one of the most valuable players, an MVP of that division, like nobody else. I don’t know that she’s always given credit for that but she absolutely should be."
As for Nia Jax, wrestling legend Dutch Mantell praised her for improving her in-ring skills. The Irresistible Force also appears to be a favorite among WWE higher-ups. She has teased joining The Bloodline in the past, too. Jax is also the first woman alongside Rhea Ripley to headline a premium live event since 2021.
With many such factors taken into consideration, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Nia Jax finally wins the Women's Championship after making her WWE comeback in September 2023. This gives intrigue to Nia Jax vs. Bayley at SummerSlam as it is an unpredictable contest.
