Nia Jax shuts down offer from major network

WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax turned down an offer from a major network today on social media. The Irresistible Force will be in action this Saturday at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ahead of this week's SmackDown, Jax took to social media to respond to an offer from the USA Network on social media. The network created a graphic featuring hypothetical tables and asked fans which one they would sit at. Table 1 included Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton, and the USA Network asked the champion if they could sit with them. Jax declined the network's offer, as seen in the post below.

Bayley defeated Naomi this past Friday night on SmackDown to earn a title match against Jax at the Premium Live Event this weekend. The veteran defeated Bayley at SummerSlam earlier this year to capture the title. Jax is in an alliance with Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, but The Buff Barbie captured the Women's Money in the Bank contract earlier this year and could cash in for a title match at any moment.

Vince Russo claims WWE has the chance to turn Tiffany Stratton babyface during a rivalry against Nia Jax

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently suggested that Tiffany Stratton could turn babyface once she decides to cash in on Nia Jax.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend noted that Jax has established herself as a "legit heel" on the blue brand. The veteran stated that the company could potentially turn Stratton babyface by getting the fans to feel sympathy for her in a rivalry against Jax.

"Nia Jax, I think, is a legit heel. So she is a legit heel. She is bigger and beefier than Tiffany Stratton. So, if you want to make that mean something, you are just gonna have to put some sympathy on Tiffany Stratton. If they can do that through story and turn her babyface, I think it will be good. But again, from a writing point of view, they have not done that very well." [1:19 onwards]
