Nia Jax suffers visible pinfall loss to Bayley at WWE Bad Blood; retains title
WWE Superstars Nia Jax and Bayley locked horns once again for the Women's Championship at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. The bout was filled with some great spots.
After their match at WWE SummerSlam 2024, where Nia Jax dethroned Bayley as the Women's Champion, the arch-rivals locked horns again for the gold at Bad Blood. Both stars put on an incredible display of action inside the squared circle. The Irresistible Force started the match strong, but The Role Model eventually took control.
During the later stages of the bout, Nia Jax accidentally hit the referee and Bayley took advantage of the situation by hitting her opponent with a Stunner and a Rose Plant. Following this, Jax suffered a visual pinfall, with fans participating in the three counts as the official was hurt. This did not play a role in the finish of the match and only made The Role Model look stronger.
After this spot, Tiffany Stratton came out with her Money in the Bank briefcase and teased a cash-in by giving it to the referee. However, The Irresistible Force did The Undertaker sit up and was frustrated with Stratton.
Bayley tried to take advantage of the situation, but Nia Jax ultimately got the better of her opponent, hitting her with a Samoan Drop and an Annihilator to retain the WWE Women's Championship.
It remains to be seen if Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton's friendship will end following the latter's cash-in tease.
