WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax was allegedly concerned after dropping a fellow superstar on the floor at ringside. Mustafa Ali revealed in a new interview that she asked him if he was okay after throwing him out of the ring during the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble match.
Jax illegally entered the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble match by attacking the #30 entrant R-Truth. The male superstars in the ring ganged up on her and she was eventually thrown out of the ring, but not before eliminating Mustafa Ali.
In a new chat with Chris Van Vliet of Insight. former WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali revealed what happened between him and Nia Jax after the elimination. Check out his comments below:
"Nia was super... like, super worried that... 'cause she did a Samoan Drop backwards and I was supposed to go to my feet. But me being me, I did a Corkscrew or something... it looked like that. I landed really funny and she saw and she's like, 'Are you okay?' I was like, 'Yeah, I'm fine.' She's like, 'Everyone thinks I hurt people, and I don't.' I was like, 'No, no, no, you were fine. You didn't hurt me. I'm totally fine.' So she's a sweetheart. But yeah, the Nia moment was very very cool, and it was just... I took it as an opportunity to step up to... 'I'm down for whatever, let's do it, let's make this entertaining.'" [From 01:07:27 to 01:07:55]

Nia Jax was let go by WWE two years later
Jax was released by WWE in 2021. She came back to the company last year and has done quite well for herself since then. She won the Queen of the Ring tournament earlier this year in Saudi Arabia.
Nia Jax went on to become the WWE Women's Champion by beating Bayley at SummerSlam 2024. She has had several title defenses since then and is one of the strongest stars on the SmackDown brand at the moment.
