Nick Aldis announces another Money in the Bank qualifying match ahead of WWE SmackDown
Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown will air live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. CM Punk is announced for the show.
Aside from The Second City Saint's homecoming, a Money in the Bank qualifying Triple Threat Match was announced beforehand. Carmelo Hayes favorably reacted to the opportunity presented to him, although he has to go through Tama Tonga and "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton.
Now, ahead of the show, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has announced the women's Triple Threat Match. It will feature Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and "Michin" Mia Yim. You can watch his announcement on social media below.
The EST of WWE dropped her Women's Tag Team Championship to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn in Glasgow, Scotland, last weekend. She and Jade Cargill lost the belts after Isla Dawn sneaked in just in the nick of time and capitalized on the moment, pinning Shayna Baszler to capture the titles.
Tonight's show will feature fallout from Clash at the Castle and, interestingly, even from RAW this week. The red brand's episode ended with a massive cliffhanger: The Wyatt Sicks debut. They were seen in the middle of absolute chaos. Several staff members, including WWE Superstar Chad Gable, were knocked out cold.
