Nick Aldis announces major stipulation for match tonight on WWE SmackDown

Nick Aldis announced a major stipulation for a highly anticipated match on tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. Tonight's episode of the blue brand will air live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax will be teaming up with Women's Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton to battle Naomi and Bayley in a tag team match with a lot on the line tonight on SmackDown. If either Naomi or Bayley wins the match, they will earn a shot at the WWE Women's Championship. However, if Naomi or Bayley loses the match, they will have to leave SmackDown.

Ahead of tonight's show, Nick Aldis added a major stipulation to the tag team match on SmackDown. Aldis stated that the two teams would be competing in a Tornado Tag Team match later tonight.

"I got to thinking, and it occurred to me that things are a little unfair at the moment. After all, what would stop Bayley from refusing to tag in Naomi, and vice versa? Because of course, if either of those competitors get the win, then they get a shot at the women's championship. So, given everything, I've decided that tonight's match will now be a Tornado Tag match. No tags, winner takes all. See you tonight," said Aldis.

Former WWE writer suggests there is nothing for Bayley to do besides reunite with Damage CTRL on RAW

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently stated that there wasn't much else for Bayley to do besides reunite with Damage CTRL.

Bayley lost the WWE Women's Championship to Nia Jax last month at SummerSlam. The Role Model used to be the leader of Damage CTRL, but her former faction betrayed her after she won the Women's Royal Rumble match.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend stated that Bayley could wind up reuniting with Damage CTRL because there is nothing else for her to do.

"Knowing them the Damage CTRL is babyface now. Knowing them she (Bayley) makes up with the Damage CTRL. Where else is she gonna go with her, bro? Where else?" [5:15 onwards]

Tiffany Stratton is aligned with Nia Jax on WWE SmackDown but could potentially cash in her Money in the Bank contract for a title match at any moment. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the Tornado Tag Team match later tonight.
