Nick Aldis breaks silence after Randy Orton breaks multiple huge WWE rules and gets carried out on Crown Jewel
As the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis has his hands full with a Randy Orton problem after Crown Jewel. After months of Adam Pearce being the one facing issues in WWE with RAW stars attacking everyone, it appears that his SmackDown counterpart is now facing that issue.
Nick Aldis has been instrumental in bringing order to SmackDown as the General Manager. However, in recent weeks, things have not gone to plan, with Kevin Owens deciding that he will go on a rampage. After destroying Cody Rhodes following Bad Blood, he has chosen to take his rage out on Randy Orton for choosing Rhodes over him. At Crown Jewel, the two were supposed to wrestle and put an end to their differences.
Unfortunately, the match never got a chance to get underway, with both stars attacking each other before it even started. It ended up with both stars getting hurt but Orton in particular was left devastated as he had to be carried out after the brawl was done.
During the course of the brawl though, several officials tried to stop the two stars and got hurt for their attempts. Randy Orton broke several rules when he attacked an official in Shawn Daivari. He didn't stop there though, as he also hit RAW General Manager Adam Pearce with an RKO. Nick Aldis was there as well, but he wasn't touched and didn't do anything to stop Orton.
Nick Aldis has now broken his silence on the entire matter for the first time since then and decided that he will show what he thought of his fellow General Manager getting hit with the RKO. He reposted a picture of the moment that the RAW GM had posted on X, and then commented on his socks instead, showing disdain for Adam Pearce.
"How 'bout those socks though."
Nick Aldis is yet to punish Randy Orton for what happened at WWE Crown Jewel
As the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis would be within his rights to punish Randy Orton for what he did at the show. He is yet to do so but it remains to be seen how he addresses it on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.
There's also yet to be a health update on Orton after he had to be carried out of Crown Jewel on a stretcher after the assault by Kevin Owens at the Saudi Arabian Premium Live Event.
