Nick Aldis forced to make a decision as mystery attackers REVEALED on WWE SmackDown
The Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins were initially scheduled for a WWE Tag Team Championship match against the Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown a few weeks ago. However, they could not compete after being attacked backstage before the match.
DIY ultimately took the duo's place in the match and defeated MCMG to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Naturally, suspicion fell on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa as the potential culprits behind the attack on Street Profits. During the latest episode of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis confronted DIY backstage about their possible involvement. However, Gargano and Ciampa denied any role.
Fortunately, there were eyewitnesses in the form of Pretty Deadly. While trying to negotiate funding for their "Pretty Deadly Musical," Kit Wilson and Elton Prince inadvertently revealed that Angel Garza was responsible for the backstage assault.
The Street Profits, furious at this revelation, immediately began searching for Legado Del Fantasma backstage. They eventually found Angel and Berto, leading to a heated brawl. Nick Aldis quickly intervened to break up the fight. He said he wouldn’t tolerate chaos and instructed the teams to settle their differences in the ring.
It appears that the Street Profits and Legado Del Fantasma are set to engage in a heated feud on WWE SmackDown in the coming weeks.
