Nick Aldis heavily praises 2-time WWE women's champion: "She's just going to give you endless material"

Nick Aldis will have his hands full heading into WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30, 2024. Ahead of the premium live event in Vancouver, Canada, the SmackDown general manager spoke highly of a two-time Women's Tag Team Champion.

Chelsea Green and her tag team partner, Piper Niven, were moved to SmackDown on Night Two of the 2024 WWE Draft. Since joining the blue brand, Green, who is known for her Karen-esque persona, has caused much trouble for Alids on TV. Meanwhile, Adam Pearce was relieved when the 33-year-old was drafted to SmackDown, as she created problems for the RAW general manager.

On Chris Van Vliet's INSIGHT podcast, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion was asked to share his two cents on Chelsea Green. Nick Aldis praised the 33-year-old female WWE star for her ability to turn a potentially negative situation into a positive one.

"It's a night off. It's great. You don't have to think very hard because she's [Chelsea Green] just going to give you endless material. What a great example of maximizing your minutes. What a great example of taking something that a lot of people would have [sic] seen that particular opportunity," he said.

The SmackDown general manager admired Green's willingness to go the extra mile while performing on TV.

"I don't want to speak for her [Green], but I would venture to say that what she's doing, it probably isn't like what she envisioned a long time ago. But man, has she taken this and run with it." (H/T: chrisvanvliet.com)

Nick Aldis reveals shocking details about being on the receiving end of Randy Orton's finisher on WWE SmackDown

On the December 1, 2023, edition of SmackDown, Randy Orton signed a contract with the blue brand after laying out Jimmy Uso during his rivalry with The Bloodline. As Nick Aldis celebrated recruiting The Viper, the latter delivered an RKO to the 38-year-old WWE personality.

In the same interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, the SmackDown general manager shared that he took the abovementioned RKO from Randy Orton on the fly.

"It was called on the fly. It's Roman [Reigns]; it's Randy [Orton]. Who's he gonna sign with? And then he was gonna sign the SmackDown contract and stare down Roman, and I think that was it. And then it was like, somebody told somebody told somebody while I was ringside. So I had to go in and call it," Aldis said.

It remains to be seen whether Nick Aldis will find himself in trouble because of Chelsea Green again. She will compete in the second round of the WWE Women's United States Title Tournament on SmackDown.
