Nick Aldis makes a big announcement for WWE's SmackDown's farewell episode on FOX
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had something to say the day before the show this week. He's added to it in a big way.
At SummerSlam, Nia Jax defeated Bayley as the new WWE Women's Champion. In winning that title, she established herself as the top name in the company. Accompanying her on that journey has been her 'best friend,' Tiffany Stratton. The two have worked together and even aided one another in matches.
Stratton played a crucial role in Bayley's loss as the distraction caused by the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase holder. As a result, Bayley has not been happy with her. The star recently returned and attacked Stratton.
Ahead of this Friday's episode, Nick Aldis announced that they would face each other in a match in the farewell episode of SmackDown on FOX. The show will then move to USA Network next week.
"She seemed to take issue with the behavior of one Miss Tiffany Stratton. While I like to stay impartial and objective in these issues most of the time, I have to say on this occasion, I agree with Bayley. So much so, in fact, that I decided, Miss Stratton, that it's Tiffy time you put your Tiffy talents to the Tiffy test. That's why this week, this Friday, live only on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton will go one-on-one with Bayley," Aldis said.
Nick Aldis will also have to control the Bloodline
While Nick Aldis has made a decision about one issue, there's another waiting for him.
Solo Sikoa and the rest of Bloodline have made no secret of their desire to challenge Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship. Their method of doing so has been to outnumber and destroy their opponents. With Roman Reigns now back, he has also been attacked.
With Cody Rhodes addressing Sikoa's challenge for the title this week, more chaos is likely to ensue that Nick Aldis will need to control.
