Nick Aldis mocks Chelsea Green ahead of WWE SmackDown
Nick Aldis hilariously mocked Chelsea Green ahead of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown. Tonight's edition of the blue brand is the final show before Bad Blood tomorrow night and will feature The Bloodline defending their WWE Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat Ladder Match.
A wrestling fan sent a hilarious message to SmackDown GM Nick Aldis ahead of tonight's show. Chelsea Green is set to square off against Michin (Mia Yim) in a Dumpster Match tonight on SmackDown. The fan claimed that they would be sending a very long hate letter to Aldis if Green was thrown in a dumpster during the match.
The SmackDown General Manager responded by saying that he would be on the edge of his seat awaiting the letter, seemingly predicting that Green would come out on the losing end during tonight's episode of the blue brand.
"I'll be in my office on the edge of my seat, waiting for your letter 😐," wrote Aldis.
Former WWE writer claims Chelsea Green is the best part of SmackDown
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently claimed that WWE should consider putting a title on Chelsea Green.
Green is a former Women's Tag Team Champion but has never won a singles title during her time on the main roster. She came close to winning the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year, but it was Tiffany Stratton who emerged victorious.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown on Backstage Pass, Russo praised the former Women's Tag Team Champion. He claimed she was the best part of SmackDown, and that she should be competing for a title. The veteran added that Green could get over with the WWE Universe as a babyface as well.
"The best part of the show, bro," Russo began. "I love Chelsea Green. I've made that known. I am a Chelsea Green mark. She clearly, clearly gets it. If you put that freaking belt [Women's Title] on Chelsea Green, and they don't even have her in the picture, she would get over as a huge babyface, bro." [From 39:24 to 39:49]
The rivalry between Michin and Green has been going on for weeks now. Green defeated the 35-year-old on the September 6 edition of SmackDown and will be battling her once again tonight in a Dumpster Match.
