Nick Aldis names his top two picks for WWE SmackDown (Exclusive)
WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently had a candid discussion about which rising superstars he wanted to join the blue brand.
While RAW has a solid roster with the likes of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch, SmackDown has no dearth of top names, either. However, fast-rising stars like Jade Cargill, Ricochet, and others often lead to competition between the two brands as they attempt to sign the best names.
Before being drafted to RAW during the 2024 Draft, Bron Breakker had signed with SmackDown and joined Jade Cargill as the newest name on the blue roster. Speaking in an interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Nick Aldis stated that Jade and Bron were his top picks:
"For me, top 2. Not in any particular order. 1 and 1A. That's my GM, you know, number 1 draft picks, were Jade and Bron. They were the free agents that I wanted." [2:25 onwards]

The WWE SmackDown General Manager had high praise for Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker's work in the squared circle has inevitably been compared to his uncle Scott Steiner's career. However, Nick Aldis isn't a fan of the comparison.
During the same interview with Bill Apter, Aldis explained that the 26-year-old was a unique superstar in his own way, and he had the potential to become a top name in the future.
"He's the first Bron Breakker. That's the way I look at it. He is tremendous, and I have a tremendous amount of time for him. I obviously have a great relationship with his uncle (Scott Steiner) and I love that kid, and he is gonna, he is ready. And I don't mean ready as in like... he is ready to take on like that spot." [2:47 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Bron Breakker in WWE.
