Nick Aldis potentially teases major star's return to WWE

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has potentially teased a major star's return to WWE. The veteran was appointed GM of the blue brand last October.

Aldis is a former NWA Champion and had a tremendous wrestling career before becoming an authority figure in the promotion. He is married to former WWE Superstar Mickie James in real life. Mickie James last appeared for the promotion in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble match. She is currently signed to Ohio Valley Wrestling as Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer.

Nick Aldis took to his Instagram earlier today to share an interesting message. The 37-year-old shared several photos with his wife but didn't add a caption to the post. Several fans have begun to speculate in the comments section that it could be a hint that Mickie James is returning to the company.

Mickie James and Nick Aldis got married in 2015. The 45-year-old is a five-time WWE Women's Champion and also captured the Divas Championship during her time with the company. Aldis accomplished a lot during his time as a wrestler but has never competed in a match in the promotion. Only time will tell if Mickie James gets the chance to return to the company down the line.
