Nick Aldis reacts to huge WWE announcement; hints he's trying to replace multiple SmackDown stars with RAW ones
Nick Aldis has just spoken up after a big WWE announcement on SmackDown, and it seems that he's already getting ready to check which blue brand stars might be replaced with RAW ones. The General Manager now has choices to make.
The SmackDown GM spoke about the transfer window and it appears that he has already started to make decisions. Which stars he's referring to remains to be seen, but if anyone wants to make switches, not would be the time to approach him.
Nick Aldis said that Santa Claus was not the only "Nick" with a list that he was checking. It appeared to say that like Santa Claus, he was checking who was naughty or nice. With the transfer window active now, he will have a chance to send some stars from SmackDown to RAW, and at the same time, bring in stars from the red brand.
"Santa isn't the only Nick with a list he's checking twice."
Given reports that SmackDown and RAW will both be moving to three hours going forward from January after the red brand's shift to Netflix, it appears that the blue brand will need more stars than the show has. The current roster is set up for two hours, and an extra hour may need more stars than are currently present on the show.
What will Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce do for the "Transfer Window" on RAW and SmackDown
So far, the transfer window has only been announced and it's yet to be seen how the deals are announced by the General Managers - Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, or if it takes the form of a Superstar Shakeup where stars just show up on their new brand without any prior announcements.
The coming weeks will show what the two General Managers are deciding and it appears they will need to negotiate with the stars as well.
The final rosters after the transfer window will be telling, as it appears there's no huge Draft coming soon.
