Nick Aldis reacts to popular WWE star's surprise appearance at Money in the Bank
WWE SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, has reacted to a popular star's surprise appearance during Money in the Bank last night in Toronto, Canada. A popular veteran showed up during the World Heavyweight Championship match and made a major impact.
Drew McIntyre emerged victorious in the Men's MITB Ladder Match last night and attempted to cash in later on the show. He was added to the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Damian Priest but things did not go as planned. CM Punk showed up once again and cost The Scottish Warrior his chance to become champion.
Nick Aldis shared his reaction to Punk showing up and seemingly hinted that McIntyre got what he deserved.
"You live by the sword...you know the rest," wrote Aldis.
Drew McIntyre has been suspended indefinitely following Money in the Bank. The veteran was irate after the show and shoved RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce. The WWE RAW GM announced the suspension earlier today on social media.
Nick Aldis comments on Bron Breakker potentially facing Roman Reigns in WWE
Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis, believes Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns are destined for a rivalry on WWE television down the line.
In an exclusive interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling earlier this year, the 37-year-old authority figure named Reigns as a future opponent for Breakker. Aldis noted that the 26-year-old wasn't ready for the challenge yet but was already on his way.
"Down the road? Roman. Down the road. But we are not there yet, and that's absolutely fine. But listen, he has got to, just because I believe in him, you know. Obviously the company believes in him, the people believe in him, he still has to make his way through this roster. And again like I said we were talking about like, world-class, maybe the best roster ever assembled. I might be a little partisan to WWE in 2002, cause when you look at that I mean that's like an all-star... I don't know if we will ever repeat that level of depth of talent and star power, but we are getting close," said Aldis. [3:17 onwards]

Bron Breakker battled Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship last night at WWE Money in the Bank but came up short. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for the 26-year-old moving forward on RAW.
