Nick Aldis sends message ahead of Roman Reigns' return to WWE SmackDown
Nick Aldis has shared an interesting message ahead of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown. Tonight will be the first edition of the blue brand since WWE SummerSlam 2024 and will air live from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Roman Reigns is set to appear on tonight's show following his return at SummerSlam. There will also be two number-one contenders matches tonight, and LA Knight will be celebrating his United States Championship victory during the show as well.
Ahead of SmackDown, Nick Aldis took to social media to share a message. He shared an image of a sign outside the BOK Center acknowledging "The Original Tribal Chief" and noted that Tulsa is ready for tonight's show.
"Looks like @BOKCenter is ready for #SmackDown tonight. #RockTheBok @WWE," he wrote.
Roman Reigns went on hiatus from the company after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania XL. He made his triumphant return in the closing moments of SummerSlam and attacked Solo Sikoa to cost him the chance at capturing the title from The American Nightmare.
Nick Aldis praises major WWE SmackDown star's look
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently praised Jade Cargill for looking like a superstar.
Jade Cargill spent a few years in All Elite Wrestling before joining WWE last year. She is currently in a tag team with Bianca Belair and the duo are former Women's Tag Team Champions. The 31-year-old will be in action tonight on SmackDown in a singles match against Alba Fyre.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview earlier this year, Aldis praised Cargill for her look and noted that the former champion captures the attention of wrestling fans.
"She is a force, right? I think one of the things you talk about in wrestling, and I feel like it has become bit of a sort of taboo subject is the look. But to me, sorry, I am always going to be of the opinion that the look is tremendously important. And to me nobody has ever really had the look in more of a way than Jade Cargill does right? You hear about the old adage. The airport test. I have been in the airport with Jade Cargill and watched people you know, just head turning... She is very magnetic," claimed Aldis. [0:47 onwards]

Roman Reigns is also advertised to appear on next week's SmackDown and on the September 13 edition of the blue brand when the show moves from Fox to the USA Network. It will be interesting to see how The Bloodline reacts to The Tribal Chief's return later tonight on SmackDown.
