Nobody is going to care about Bron Breakker's potential match against former WWE Champion, says veteran (Exclusive)
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo shared his thoughts on a potential feud between Sheamus and Bron Breakker.
The former NXT Champion was drafted to Monday Night RAW on Night One of the WWE Draft. He was present on the red brand this week where he had a backstage segment with Sheamus. Many believe it could lead to a match between the two.
With Bron being presented as an unstoppable force on the main roster, The Celtic Warrior will likely put him over if the two meet inside the squared circle. However, Vince Russo believes that it is not going to do much for the rising star's career as Sheamus does not have much credibility these days.
Here's what the former WWE employee had to say on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW:
"We talked about it last week. Here’s what we talked about last week bro. Sheamus is done. Sheamus has run its course. So what are we gonna do? So now you’re gonna get in a program with Bron Breakker and Sheamus. You really think we’re putting over Sheamus in that program? That’s what I am talking about. So Sheamus is gonna play the jobber for Bron Breakker and nobody is going to care. Nobody." [47:43 onwards]
Sheamus recently returned to TV programming after months on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury. There have also been teases of him being involved in a program with Drew McIntyre.
