"None of that stuff matters anymore" - WWE veteran criticizes company for ignoring an important aspect (Exclusive)

WWE aired the latest episode of RAW this week from Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. The show was headlined by a Women's World Title match between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan. However, the main event wasn't the only major attraction of the program. Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Kairi Sane vs. Lyra Valkyria.

After her loss to Nia Jax in the final of the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament, Valkyria was looking to turn things around against The Pirate Princess. The Irish star got the win after a hard-fought contest. IYO SKY was displeased with the bout's outcome and destroyed Damage CTRL's locker room.

Dakota Kai also cut a promo on the show, mentioning her mother and her home country, New Zealand.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo was critical of both Kairi Sane and Kai. He called them out for the abovementioned promo and Kairi's actions in her match against Valkyria. He felt that the Damage CTRL members weren't trying to get heat from fans despite being heels. Russo further claimed that WWE's creative team didn't care about fans' reactions.

"There's only one explanation and that explanation has to be because they really believe none of that stuff matters anymore," he said. (36:55 - 37:05)

Damage CTRL has seemingly lost much momentum after suffering multiple losses on WWE TV. It will be interesting to see what's next for the faction.
