"Not dead" - 253 lbs WWE star breaks silence after unfortunate loss in huge title match
A WWE star had the opportunity of a lifetime to win a championship during a recent show. Unfortunately, he lost and even failed to capitalize despite his opponent's injury.
Heading into the match against Ridge Holland, Trick Williams had all the disadvantages in the world as the WWE NXT Champion. Not only had he suffered an injury recently, after Holland hit him with his finisher on an announcer's table, he was taken to the hospital. It was announced at NXT Deadline that the star was cleared to compete for as long as he could tolerate the pain.
"He's medically cleared as long as he can tolerate the pain."
Trick Williams was able to compete, but even during the match, he ended up in a tricky spot after he was hung up in the ropes with his neck getting stuck in an apparent botch. The referee and he, working together, were able to get himself out, and it appeared that Holland would be able to take advantage and win. Unfortunately, that's not how it worked out for him. Williams hit the Trick Shot Knee and got the win.
Now, Ridge Holland has broken his silence with a message giving his status. He said that he was far from dead and he was not going to stop.
"Not dead..... not stopping."
It appears that even after his win, the still-far-from-fit WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams will have to keep looking over his shoulder.
