Odyssey Jones update ahead of Monday's WWE RAW

Last week's WWE RAW saw the official arrival of Odyssey Jones. The heavyweight grappler was quickly thrown into a top feud on the RAW brand, and the WWE Universe has been buzzing ever since. There's new information on Jones ahead of this week's episode.

After months of speculation on Jones' future with World Wrestling Entertainment, the 30-year-old debuted last Monday and helped The New Day in its war against The Final Testament as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Akam and Rezar. Officials were said to be happy with the numbers drawn on social media for Jones' debut.

The Future Favorite is returning to RAW this week. Officials have announced that Jones will be on Monday's episode, but they did not elaborate on what he will be doing—whether he will be wrestling a match or doing some sort of promo segment.

"ODYSSEY JONES! Tomorrow night on #WWERaw 8/7c @USANetwork," wrote WWE on X.

Jones has not wrestled since March 21, when he was defeated by Omos at a non-televised live event. Jones vs. Omos took place at three other shows that week. Jones also lost twice to Cedric Alexander in March—once at an un-aired Speed taping and once as a SmackDown dark match.

WWE RAW updated lineup for Monday

World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, for this week's live RAW. After this, there will be just two red brand shows before Bash in Berlin.

There are now seven matches or segments set for Monday's RAW, which will continue fallout from SummerSlam and build for Bash in Berlin. Below is the updated lineup:

  • Rhea Ripley will open the show
  • Odyssey Jones will appear
  • Randy Orton will appear
  • American Made vs. Alpha Academy
  • #1 Contender's Match: Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs. Kairi Sane and IYO SKY
  • 2 of 3 Falls Match: Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker defends vs. Sami Zayn
  • Damian Priest vs. Carlito

RAW will be back on the USA Network this week. Syfy aired the red brand action for the past two weeks due to coverage of the Paris Olympics on USA.
