Omos makes major career decision 13 months after last WWE singles match
Omos hasn't been featured in WWE plans for several months and hasn't appeared on WWE TV since April. The Nigerian Giant has now made a major career move amid his absence.
The 7'2" star worked with MVP for several months, and the veteran appeared to boost his career, but he hasn't had a televised singles match since May 2023. He's now decided to start his own YouTube channel, where he reviews fragrances.
Anyone who follows Omos on Instagram will know that he is a fan of fragrances and an avid collector. Many fans look to him for insight on some of the newest releases.
Omos came up short against Seth Rollins in his last televised singles match at Backlash 2023 and has since only been featured in house shows, battle royals, and the annual Royal Rumble match.
It's unclear why the star has been kept off TV for so long, but he appears to have made this decision while he awaits the company's next move.
When will Omos make his return to WWE?
Omos was expected to join forces with Bobby Lashley and The Hurt Business at one point, but it seems that creative idea never came to fruition, and the star has been waiting on the sidelines for months for some creative input.
WWE has gone through a lot of changes over the past year, and the fact that Omos has still been featured on TV in battle royals shows that the company is still aware that he is there and he isn't struggling with any injuries.
MVP also appears to be pushing back to full fitness at present, which means that the two men could link up again if the decision were made to have them appear on TV together. At the moment, it seems that the company is pushing towards SummerSlam, and Omos isn't someone that the company has factored into those plans.
