"One of the scariest things I've ever done in my life"- Randy Orton plays crucial role at non-WWE event

Randy Orton is heating up for his next world championship opportunity in WWE. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, The Viper made it known that he was gunning for Gunther. He mentioned his controversial loss to the Ring General in the final of the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year, stating that everyone needed to see a rematch with a decisive winner.

With the man behind the most dangerous letters in WWE set to challenge for his fifteenth WWE world title, he's sure to be making the rounds in order to promote the next premium live event. Bash in Berlin is only weeks away, after all.

Randy Orton took the first step earlier today when he threw out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game. As of this writing, the Cardinals are up 5-1 in the bottom of the 4th inning. Maybe they should bring the future Hall of Famer in every game.

After the pitch, Orton stated that it was one of the "scariest things" he's done in his entire life, but was happy that the ball didn't hit the dirt. If you've ever seen a celebrity throw out the first pitch at a baseball game, you know that's not as easy to accomplish as it sounds.

Randy Orton to take part in major WWE event in St. Louis in October

News broke yesterday that WWE's tertiary brand, NXT, would be hitting the road in October. Their first two dates on The CW Network will emanate from Rosemont, Illinois and St Louis, Missouri.

With NXT set to begin touring again, WWE has decided to load up these first couple of events. While CM Punk will be in the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on October 1st, Randy Orton himself is set to appear on the October 8th episode at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

Randy Orton took to Twitter to respond to the announcement, telling the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels to count him in. The question is... Will he be the World Heavyweight Champion when he visits NXT?
