Painful finish to CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood; Extremely emotional ending

WWE Superstars CM Punk and Drew McIntyre went at it again at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. It was one of the most brutal Hell in Cell matches in the history of the Stamford-based promotion.

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been in a heated feud since Royal Rumble 2024. The archrivals have already faced each other twice with McIntyre emerging victorious at SummerSlam 2024, and Punk taking a win at Bash in Berlin 2024.

The Second City Saint and The Scottish Warrior locked horns once again, this time in a Hell in a Cell match at the WWE Bad Blood. Both stars started the match with a staredown, before going at each other in full force.

Throughout the bout, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk used several objects to hurt each other and soon it turned into a blood bath. However, during the latter stages of the match, McIntyre's emotions got the better of him, as he threw a bunch of bracelet beads at his opponent instead of going for the win.

This helped The Second City Saint to turn things around. He hit The Scottish Warrior with another GTS, this time with a steel chain wrapped around his thigh, and emerged victorious via pinfall.

The finish to the match was emotional as Punk avenged months of turmoil and personal attacks to overcome his arch-nemesis. The feud has been deeply personal and was made more so when McIntyre took Punk's bracelet with AJ Lee and Larry's names on it.

Although CM Punk promised that this would be his last match against Drew McIntyre, fans might want to see their rivalry continue as both stars have put on incredible performances in this trilogy.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for their future.
