Paul Heyman betraying Roman Reigns to join forces with former WWE champion should have happened, says veteran (Exclusive)
Paul Heyman is expected to align with Roman Reigns upon his return to WWE. However, wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes that The Wiseman joining forces with Solo Sikoa would have been a better idea.
Heyman was kicked out of The Bloodline a few months back after he refused to acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. The 59-year-old veteran has been on the sidelines since the attack. However, he is expected to return to the fold soon to reunite with Roman Reigns and the rest of the original Bloodline members.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Vince Russo noted that WWE has fumbled Solo Sikoa's booking. The 63-year-old veteran added that the former NXT North American Champion should have been paired with Paul Heyman instead of the latter sitting at home for three months:
"They dropped the ball on that dude. He should’ve been bulletproof until Roman Reigns came back. Regardless, why didn’t they keep Heyman around and let him go with Sikoa to really build Sikoa. They could have let Heyman do the talking, he could have still been in that Enforcer role. Wouldn’t that have been more valuable than sitting Heyman home for 3 months?" [45:36 - 46:03]

While Paul Heyman has not been seen on WWE programming since June 2024, The Wiseman is actively involved in the direction of The Bloodline storyline. He has also been present backstage at multiple shows.
