Paul Heyman changes up appearance during WWE hiatus
Paul Heyman seemingly changed his appearance during his hiatus from WWE. The veteran has not appeared since he was attacked by The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown earlier this year.
Solo Sikoa attempted to make himself the new Tribal Chief after Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. Sikoa spent months forming a new group and ordered the faction to attack Heyman on the June 28 edition of SmackDown in Madison Square Garden.
Heyman refused to acknowledge Sikoa as his Tribal Chief and was Powerbombed through the announce table as a result. The veteran made an appearance at Fanatics Fest with media personality Sam Roberts and shared some photos on his Instagram story. Heyman's hair is going gray again during his hiatus from the promotion, and you can check out the post on his Instagram story by clicking here.
Roman Reigns returned to WWE television at SummerSlam and is going after the new version of The Bloodline on SmackDown. However, Jacob Fatu attacked the Original Tribal Chief during this past Friday's show, and The Bloodline stood tall over Reigns.
Bill Apter would like to see WWE RAW star align with Paul Heyman
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently pitched the idea of Damian Priest aligning with Paul Heyman.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter compared the former World Heavyweight Champion to Roman Reigns back in the day. He noted that Heyman could do something similar for The Archer of Infamy and help bring out the best in him.
"I think Damian Priest is teetering on that same kind of level that Roman was, but there's, just, there is some lightning that still needs to electrify in there, and I think Paul Heyman would be very... I am not saying that's gonna happen. I am just saying that I think that Paul Heyman could take Damian Priest and bring him up to an even higher level." [21:19 onwards]
Jimmy Uso also has not returned to SmackDown since he was kicked out of The Bloodline following his loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania XL. Only time will tell when Uso and Heyman return to WWE SmackDown.
