Paul Heyman drops major return tease ahead of WWE SmackDown; could reunite with Roman Reigns

Paul Heyman has not been seen on WWE TV since he was attacked by The Bloodline and kicked out of the group three months ago. There was a belief that The Wiseman would be returning alongside Roman Reigns but the latter has been back for several weeks and has not been handed any backup.

Reigns and Cody Rhodes are set to team up and will take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event. Last week on SmackDown, Rhodes opted to help the person it took him years to dethrone, and this week there could be another massive shock.

Paul Heyman recently tweeted about having "peace of mind" while traveling, and many fans believe that he could be traveling to WWE SmackDown to hand The Original Tribal Chief some much-needed advice ahead of his match at Bad Blood 2024.

Check out Heyman's tweet below:

Heyman has been rumored to be returning to WWE with a new client, but it is currently unknown what direction his role on the show will take. With Reigns as a babyface, it may be harder for The Wiseman to work the same role, but it could be argued that he is also a babyface now after he stood up to The Bloodline.

Will Paul Heyman appear on WWE SmackDown?

It is clear that Paul Heyman has been backstage at SmackDown for several weeks and has been helping Roman Reigns despite his lack of visibility on TV. The Original Tribal Chief is currently getting cheered by the WWE Universe to put him over as a babyface and teaming up with Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood 2024 could add another layer of intrigue to this.

Paul Heyman is a much-needed entity in Reigns' corner and there were videos of the latter looking for his Wiseman last week on SmackDown before realizing that he was no longer there.

Reigns could address the attack on Heyman this week on SmackDown which may finally lead to the latter's return and help extend this feud further.
