Paul Heyman drops major reunion tease ahead of WWE SmackDown

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman dropped a major reunion tease ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown. The Wiseman has not appeared on WWE television since the June 28 edition of the blue brand.

Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief a couple of months ago and paid for the decision dearly. The Bloodline betrayed the veteran and Powerbombed him through the announce table in front of a stunned crowd in Madison Square Garden.

Heyman took to his Instagram story today to send a message to wrestling fans. He hinted at a potential reunion with Roman Reigns by telling fans to buy a t-shirt with himself and The Head of the Table on it. You can check out Heyman's post on Instagram by clicking here.

Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. He returned at SummerSlam last month to cost Solo Sikoa his opportunity to become champion. The Bloodline got revenge on Reigns by brutally attacking him on the August 16 edition of the blue brand, and the 39-year-old has not appeared on WWE television since.

WWE Hall of Famer comments on Paul Heyman's role in the company

Wrestling legend Teddy Long recently praised Paul Heyman and discussed his backstage role in the company.

Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long noted that Heyman has matured a lot over the years. He added that the legend gives advice to a lot of the talent in the locker room and helps as many people as he can.

"He's really matured a lot," Long stated. "I mean, his job, I see him helping the guys out as much as he can. He's got a spot right there in Gorilla [backstage area], and so a lot of guys go over and talk to him before they go out for their matches and stuff. I see Paul, yeah, very mature, man. He's doing good." [9:27 – 9:43]
