Roman Reigns' heartfelt tweet after Sika's passing
Roman Reigns hasn't been active on X/Twitter and his other social media handles since his big loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. After the loss, he posted a clip hinting at a new beginning. After a long social media hiatus, he has now shared another tweet, mourning his father's passing.
Here's what he wrote:
"My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola'ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you."
Sika worked for a long list of major promotions during his heyday. In addition to his multiple WWE runs, he wrestled in NJPW, Mid-South Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, and other notable promotions. Sika and Afa were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 for their contributions to the business.
