Paul Heyman reacts to major WWE announcement ahead of SmackDown
WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman recently took to social media to react to a major announcement by the Stamford-based promotion ahead of this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The Wiseman is currently on a hiatus from WWE television.
Heyman has not been seen on TV since he was viciously attacked by the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline amid Roman Reigns' absence. Although The Original Tribal Chief returned at SummerSlam 2024 and has been appearing regularly on SmackDown, The Wiseman is nowhere to be seen.
According to multiple reports, Paul Heyman might reunite with Roman Reigns on this week's edition of the blue brand ahead of the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event.
WWE recently announced the dates for SummerSlam 2025 and revealed that the show will be held across two nights for the first time. This post caught the 59-year-old veteran's attention and he took to his Instagram stories to repost it.
The Wiseman only uploaded the poster without any captions, seemingly suggesting that he might be a part of The Biggest Party of The Summer next year.

It remains to be seen whether The Wiseman will return to the blue brand this week.
Paul Heyman talked about his potential return to WWE
During a recent chat with Sam Roberts on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Paul Heyman said that he would return to WWE when he has something to add to Roman Reigns' character and The Bloodline's storyline.
Heyman also dropped a bombshell, saying that his eventual return to TV will set up a year's worth of storylines.
"It goes back to saying 'winning and losing matters,' and 'by orders of The Tribal Chief,'... when I come back to television, if I come back, when I do... that moment is going to set up a year's worth of storylines. I will come back when it's relevant for me to come back, when I'm needed to come back, when I can add to Roman Reigns and not just ride his coat-tails, and hang off his glory," Paul Heyman said.
Many people believe Heyman might end up betraying Roman Reigns to side with The Rock. It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for The Wiseman's future with The Original Tribal Chief.
