Paul Heyman would repay CM Punk, says WWE Hall of Famer, in a shocking manner against a major name

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman and CM Punk are no strangers to each other. They have worked together in the past and continue to be connected behind the scenes. Recently, wrestling veteran Bully Ray (FKA Bubba Ray Dudley) said that Punk can truly turn heel if the former world champion asks Heyman to repay the favor by taking out Seth Rollins ''in some way.''

Last month, Seth Rollins wanted nothing to do with the OG Bloodline, as The Visionary declined the group's offer to join forces against Solo Sikoa's team at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, Paul Heyman reached out to CM Punk, and The Second City Saint agreed to help Roman and Co. in return for a favor from The Wiseman.

Speaking on Busted Open, Bully Ray stated if WWE truly wants CM Punk to turn heel, The Second City Saint needs to ask Paul Heyman to repay the favor by taking out Seth Rollins. The veteran said that there is a slight chance it may work, as it's hard to turn The Best in The World heel in the current scenario. Notably, Punk and Rollins are set to lock horns on the season premiere of RAW on Netflix on January 6.

"I think that until the Royal Rumble comes along, maybe the repayment of the favor comes into play. If Paul Heyman repays the favor by costing Seth Rollins in some way, shape, or form for CM Punk. Yeah, there may be a chance,'' he said. [From 23:42 onwards]

CM Punk and Paul Heyman reunited in 2024 on WWE SmackDown

Earlier this year, CM Punk reunited with Paul Heyman in the Stamford-based promotion for the first time in over a decade. The two stars hugged it out on an edition of SmackDown, as The Wiseman requested his former client to save him from Solo Sikoa and the New Bloodline.

While The Straight Edge Superstar wanted to help, Drew McIntyre attacked him later that night. In November 2024, Paul Heyman returned to WWE SmackDown, revealing CM Punk as the fifth member of Team Roman Reigns for the Men's WarGames Match.

After winning the gimmick match, Heyman hugged Punk, and the latter reminded The Wiseman about the impending favor the 59-year-old owed to his former client. Neither party has revealed the favor. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the coming months.
