Paul Heyman reveals he made one major request to Roman Reigns about CM Punk

Paul Heyman had a rather tumultuous time on WWE SmackDown this week, or rather a tumultuous past couple of months even. In an interesting backstage moment before the main event, Heyman revealed that he had made one request to Roman Reigns about CM Punk.

It now appears as though Solo Sikoa is fully embracing the new Tribal Chief persona, as not one, not two, but three new members have been added to The Bloodline. The addition of the new 'blood' has been a huge source of conflict for Paul Heyman, who has spoken out against what he considers senseless violence in the new Bloodline.

Before Solo Sikoa went out for his main event, Paul Heyman told him that he made one big request to Roman Reigns - to lay his hands off CM Punk:

This is an interesting bit of backstory because Heyman and CM Punk united for the first time in over 11 years tonight on the blue brand. It was a wholesome reunion until Heyman shockingly told Punk that he needed to leave on account of The Bloodline and the Tongan thugs.

Punk was ultimately saved by Cody Rhodes but taken out by Drew McIntyre later in the night. Meanwhile, the main event saw the debut of Jacob Fatu at long last after months or speculation.

The twists and turns continue on WWE SmackDown and fans better watch out for next week's show.
