Paul Heyman sends a message to John Cena weeks after he confirms his retirement plans
WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has sent a message aimed at John Cena. The Cenation Leader confirmed his in-ring retirement plans at the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event and is set to hang up his wrestling boots next year.
Heyman is currently sidelined from TV after being powerbombed through the announcers desk by The Bloodline. After refusing to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as The Tribal Chief, he was also on the receiving end of a Samoan Spike.
Heyman and Cena have a lot of history with each other. On his Instagram Story, The Wiseman recalled his confrontation with the 16-time WWE World Champion from an episode of SmackDown in 2021.
"@usanetwork says ... 'three years ago,'" Heyman wrote.

Sam Roberts discussed the possibility of Roman Reigns revealing himself as the mastermind behind the Paul Heyman attack
Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as The Tribal Chief, as he remained loyal to Roman Reigns.
Many expect The Head of the Table to return soon and exact revenge on behalf of his Wiseman. However, according to Sam Roberts, WWE can pull off a major swerve by revealing Reigns as the mastermind behind The Bloodline's attack on Heyman.
On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts said Reigns could assume leadership of The Bloodline again after disclosing his true intentions.
"When Roman comes back unless Roman is like, 'Hey! Thanks, Solo. This is all exactly what I've been saying. I asked Solo to powerbomb Paul Heyman through a table. I asked Solo to bring on the Tongans and Jacob Fatu. Yeah, I told Solo I wasn't coming back. I just decided to come back later. No, no, everything, Solo and I are great.' Unless Roman Reigns is returning at SummerSlam to be like, 'Hey Solo, great job while I was gone,' and Solo's being like, 'Thanks, Roman. Good to see you back. Now. You're The Tribal Chief again.' Then it's about Cody Rhodes."
At the upcoming SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Will Reigns play a role in the bout's outcome? Only time will tell.
