Paul Heyman shares heartbreaking tribute to Roman Reigns' father Sika
The WWE Universe continues to honor the father of Roman Reigns and Rosey. Numerous tributes to the late Sika Anoa'i have been offered by wrestling stars and fans. Paul Heyman is honoring his fellow WWE Hall of Famer for the third time this week.
Sika passed away on Tuesday at the age of 79. The Wild Samoans began their careers in 1973, and went on to become 20-time tag team champions at various promotions like WWE, WWC, the NWA, and Mid-South, among others. The legendary Anoa'i Family of pro wrestling formed life-long links to dozens of stars, including Paul Heyman, who was then known as Paul E. Dangerously. Heyman has guided The Bloodline for a few years now, but he managed Fatu, aka Rikishi, and Samu as WCW's Samoan SWAT Team in 1989. He later brought Matt Anoa'i, aka Rosey, and Samu to the original ECW as The Samoan Gangster Party.
The Wise-Man joined the wrestling world in paying tribute to Sika on Tuesday. He then took to Instagram today to share some fan-created artwork to honor the Bloodline elder. The moving piece featured The Tribal Chief pointing to his father in the sky, both with their fingers pointed up. Instagram user OTANOD created the tribute in the same style of his wrestling comics.
Members of The Bloodline also paid tribute to their uncle on social media this week. Roman Reigns is currently away from the storylines on hiatus.

The Tribal Chief has paid tribute to one of the original Wild Samoans. Better known as dad to Roman Reigns, Sika Anoa'i passed away on Tuesday at the age of 79.
Reigns took to X/Twitter on Tuesday night to honor his father for the foundation he provided the family. He promised to join his sisters in representing Sika and his legacy, and also thanked everyone for their support.
"My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola'ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy. Rest in Power, Dad. We love you," Roman Reigns wrote.
Many wrestling stars are sharing stories and memories of Sika and The Anoa'i Family on social media this week. One WWE official who works closely with Roman Reigns credited Wild Samoan #2 for a major act.
