Paul Heyman shares story about Roman Reigns and CM Punk during WWE RAW; acknowledges tense conversation they had on SmackDown 

Paul Heyman has shared a post on his Instagram story following the events of the latest edition of WWE SmackDown. During Roman Reigns and CM Punk's tense staredown, the duo had an interesting verbal exchange.

On SmackDown, Punk was revealed as the fifth member of Reigns' team for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Heyman watched with awe as Reigns and Punk had an epic staredown to close the show.

During the staredown, Roman Reigns told Punk that Paul Heyman is his Wiseman. In response, Punk simply told The OTC that they'll see. Heyman has now acknowledged the conversation by sharing a picture on his Instagram stories.

Paul Heyman on CM Punk's WWE return last year

Earlier this year, The Wiseman appeared on Notsam Wrestling. He had a lot to say about Punk's Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 return.

He stated that The Second City Second was where he belonged.

"CM Punk is back where he belongs, and that's on top in WWE, and like any other rebel, it's the old song, you have to go through hell before you get to heaven. And CM Punk the struggle is real, and he is a rebel, to this day he is a rebel, but the rebel would never reach the top, the rebel will never get his due on his own merit if he doesn't go through pure, blatant, bloody, hell and that hell could not only be in WWE, he had to go through hell elsewhere as well, and everybody had to see it and hear about it and know about it." A lot has changed over the past 12 months. Punk and Reigns are on the same team and will attempt to put Solo Sikoa's Bloodline down at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

It remains to be seen how things pan out.
