"People are going to be excited to see him back" - Bill Apter dispels fears over WWE RAW star's absence (Exclusive)
Several faces have risen to prominence under Triple H, and amongst WWE's monster heels has been Bronson Reed. Despite his untimely absence, Bill Apter believed the heavyweight star's momentum would take no hit.
Bronson Reed returned to WWE in 2022 and, in recent times, has been booked like a true destroyer, laying out several top names with his popular finishing move, the Tsunami.
Reed was recently scheduled to compete in the Intercontinental Title number one contender's tournament but was pulled after testing positive for COVID-19.
While sharing his thoughts on The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter wasn't stressing about the timing of Bronson's hiatus as he felt the star had shown enough promise to excite the fans once he's back. Apter was glad WWE didn't use a storyline angle to write Reed off.
Bill Apter was also fascinated to see the Australian superstar's journey as a heel and was confident that he would get a great pop upon his return:
"What I'm glad they didn't do is work like an injury angle and say he is injured from that splash. They did not do that on Monday Night RAW unless I missed that. But no (if his momentum will take a hit), people are going to be excited to see him back because he is proving to be an excellent bad guy, a villain. I, for one, want to see him again." Teddy Long shares the same sentiments as Bill Apter about Bronson Reed's WWE future
While Bill Apter delved deeper into Bronson Reed's strong performances, Teddy Long spoke about the health effects of COVID.
The WWE Hall of Famer was also not too worried about Reed being out for long, as he noted that most people typically quarantine and resume their regular activities reasonably soon.
As Teddy Long suggested, Bronson Reed's current WWE run might not be impacted all too much:
"And another thing too, you know, with the COVID, you just need to quarantine maybe five or six days, or eight days or something like that, and go back and retest, and it's probably gone by then." [1:18 onwards]
Bronson Reed was involved in an epic moment with Braun Strowman the last time he was on Monday Night RAW, and we're sure he would do something equally explosive when fans see him again.
