"People don't realize how big this guy is" - Tommy Dreamer opens up about WWE RAW star's physical transformation

It is apparent Tommy Dreamer still watches WWE’s products closely. The ECW legend recently opened up about a four-time champion who has undergone a great physical transformation.

Braun Strowman is seen as a wrecking force in WWE. The former Universal Champion has been a top name in the industry thanks to his size and work in the ring.

Speaking on a recent edition of Busted Open After Dark, Tommy Dreamer recalled wrestling Braun Strowman in his early years in WWE. He went on to state that the giant impressed him early on.

"I had the earliest of Braun Strowman's matches. We joke about it whenever I talk about him but I think he said I was like his third or fifth match ever. And I didn't work in WWE and I'm doing it on television, and me and the Dudleys and Rhino were all feuding with Braun Strowman. You could see how great this guy was going to be. He's also had some ups and downs in his career, to the point where WWE lets him go," said Dreamer.

Dreamer praised Strowman’s current run in WWE following his return. He added that The Monster of All Monsters had worked very well on his physique.

"But I think he's been firing on all cylinders, right. Really, really enjoy his work, always have. But he's now been on a next-level path," he said. "For a while, he was leaned up, but now he's put on some weight - I shouldn't say put on some weight [but] put on some muscle and he's kept his leanness, which for him, he's quick and explosive. As well as people don't realize how big this guy is." [H/T - WrestlingInc.]

The legend continued that WWE had a lot smaller wrestlers now as compared to before. Giants like Strowman add a new dimension to the overall product and give the creative team a chance to build dynamic rivalries.

Braun Strowman is currently in a hard-hitting rivalry with fellow monster Bronson Reed. The two men have already wreaked havoc on RAW multiple times in their current feud.

Braun Strowman's current rival spoke about their WWE RAW rivalry

Bronson Reed wants to become the next big thing on the RAW roster. The big man has all the tools to become a future champion, but the creative team needs to test him more before giving him the final push.

His current rivalry with Braun Strowman has turned a few heads in the company. Speaking on The Overnight Crowd, Reed talked about how his rivalry with The Monster Among Monsters will only end when one of them fails to get back up.

"Yeah, honestly, I don't know. Every Monday Night [RAW], I show up. We have this rivalry going, and it's only going to get bigger and better for the things that we're doing. So, it's going to come to an end when one of us doesn't get up, I guess. So, I'm planning on that to be me standing at the end of the day. We'll see how we get there, but I don't know," Reed said.

Fans will patiently wait to see AusZilla get the upper hand in the rivalry before Seth Rollins’ return. Triple H could get both the two men in a massive feud down the line.
