[Video] Drew McIntyre appears to have a huge injury scare after SmackDown goes off the air
In what may come as bad news, Drew McIntyre may have injured his knee after SmackDown went off the air. In the second dark match of the night, not only did he lose, but he might have suffered a potential injury.
The first dark match of the night saw Liv Morgan defeat Lyra Valkyria to retain the Women's World Championship. After that, the second dark match or the second main event of the night saw Drew McIntyre take on his familiar old foe, "Main event" Jey Uso.
It appears that things could be serious, as one fan reported that Drew McIntyre had suffered a knee injury. However, it is almost certain that the 'injury' was in Kayfabe.
We're not sure what exactly did it, but it's possible that Drew hit the GTS on Jey Uso incorrectly.
McIntyre could be selling his knee in Kayfabe ahead of his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk.
As you probably know by now, the trilogy match between Punk and McIntyre will happen at Bad Blood 2024, and it could even headline the show despite Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up together.
We can only hope that McIntyre was selling the move he hit, and it isn't that serious.
