Popular Bollywood star defends former WWE CEO Vince McMahon amid legal challenges: "He's genius"

Vince McMahon is a defendant in an ongoing lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant in January 2024. However, a top Bollywood actor has seemingly come to his defense.

Varun Dhawan recently shared his thoughts on the former WWE CEO's situation. The Baby John actor sat down with Ranveer Allahbadia/BeerBiceps on The Ranveer Show to discuss various WWE topics, including the Mr. McMahon docuseries released on Netflix in September of this year.

Despite the ongoing legal issues surrounding the 79-year-old legend, Varun Dhawan defended Vince McMahon's professional legacy. The Bollywood celebrity acknowledged the former World Champion's genius and his innovative contributions to the media industry before the current controversies.

"He [Vince McMahon] is a genius, obviously in that [media] perspective. I mean now he's at those cases and sh*t on him which is horrible. But the professional side at that time without us knowing that context, he's done a lot of crazy stuff," Dhawan said. [From 01:54:37 to 01:54:50]

"Vince thought it was hilarious," Riddle said. "Bruce Prichard [thought the same]. Randy really thought it was funny. I was worried I was gonna get fired or in trouble or taken off TV, and they're like, 'Perfect. It was perfect for the character.' And I was like, 'Sweet, cool.' They're like, 'Don't do it again, though.' 'I won't, I won't. I won't make it a regular thing!'"
