Popular star should have confronted Jacob Fatu on RAW; ex- WWE employee discusses missed opportunity (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about The Bloodline appearing this week on RAW. During the opening segment, the faction tried to ambush The Usos but were repelled by Jimmy and Jey Uso.

The Usos were trying to resolve their issues when The Bloodline launched a sneak attack. Jimmy and Jey fought back and managed to send Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and even Jacob Fatu packing.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo recalled that fans loved watching Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu confronting each other last week, but WWE didn't follow up on that. The veteran writer claimed that he would have had Breakker run in this week to have another confrontation with the Samoan Werewolf just because fans wouldn't have expected that.

"This is where they missed the boat." Russo detailed, "What did we see last week that everybody popped for? We saw Bron Breakker and the Wolfman (Jacob Fatu) come face-to-face. How about in this, the babies are up, the babies are taking care of the Bobsie twins. Then Fatu gets involved, now they let him take over. What about running Bron Breakker in there to go after Fatu? That's a monkey wrench. That is interesting. That wasn't supposed to happen." [5:22 onwards]

This week on WWE RAW, Bron Breakker announced that last week, he did what he had already announced - defeat Jey Uso. He pointed out that he would have regained the Intercontinental Championship even if The Bloodline hadn't shown up.

It will be interesting to see if these ongoing tensions lead to another confrontation between Jacob Fatu and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
