Popular tag team returns after two months to save Lyra Valkyria from vicious assault

Lyra Valkyria was almost on the receiving end of a vicious attack on WWE RAW. However, she was rescued by a popular tag team.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance have proven that they are more than capable of handling themselves in the ring. The two form an entertaining team that is quite popular with the fans. They even held the Women's Tag Team Championship at one point.

Carter and Chance were in a feud with Pure Fusion Collective a few months ago. They even teamed up with Lyra Valkyria on the July 29 episode of WWE RAW to face them in a losing effort. During the match, Chance took a Z-360 from Zoey Stark and suffered a broken nose. As a result, they had been out of action.

Tonight on WWE RAW, Lyra went one-on-one with Zoey Stark. Before the match, Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler met Valkyria backstage and tried to intimidate her, reminding her she was all alone for the match.

However, this didn't deter the former NXT Women's Champion, and she brought the fight to Stark. Unfortunately, Pure Fusion Collective proved too much for her as Sonya hit her with the knee while the referee was distracted by Shayna Baszler. This allowed Stark to pick up the win.

Following the match, Pure Fusion Collective was about to attack Lyra when Kayden Carter and Katana Chance made their return and saved the day.

It looks like Lyra Valkyria has finally got some backup against the Pure Fusion Collective. Fans will have to wait to see how this feud unfolds.
