Popular tag team saves Kevin Owens from brutal assault on SmackDown; Bloodline sent in retreat
A popular team saved Kevin Owens from a brutal assault on WWE SmackDown. The Bloodline were sent in retreat.
The Bloodline are in a transition phase since WrestleMania 40. In the absence of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa has seemingly taken over control of the group, much to the surprise of Paul Heyman. Solo started by kicking out Jimmy Uso from the group while also adding Tama Tonga. A few weeks later, he added Tonga Loato his version of The Bloodline. The group immediately kickstarted a feud with Kevin Owens and now it seems they have also gotten into a storyline feud with The Street Profits in recent weeks.
Tonight on SmackDown, The Bloodline kicked off the show with the annointment ceremony of Tonga Loa. Paul Heyman started by naming Solo Sikoa as the new Head of the Table in the absence of Roman Reigns. He also named Tama Tonga as the new Right Hand Man and annointed Tonga Loa into the group. Heyman was then made to thank Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa for saving him from Owens last week.
However, this segment was cut short by Kevin Owens who ran down to the ring and brawled with The Bloodline singlehandedly. The numbers were too much for Owens but he had some backup in Street Profits who came down to the ring. Owens grabbed a steel chair and chased Solo Sikoa and his stable out of the ring.
It looks like this feud between Owens and The Bloodline is getting more personal and out of hand each week.
