Popular WWE duo gives themselves a tag team name following UK show

Two popular WWE Superstars have given themselves a new tag team name following a live event tonight in the United Kingdom. The duo in question is Shinsuke Nakamura and Natalya.

Nakamura battled Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship tonight in Birmingham but came up short in the match. After his victory, Rhodes cut a promo and claimed that the UK deserved a WrestleMania. The King of Strong Style and Cody have had an intense rivalry in the past, but The American Nightmare has consistently gotten the better of the veteran.

Following tonight's WWE Live Event in Birmingham, Natalya took to social media to share a picture with Shinsuke Nakamura. She called the partnership "Naka-Meowa," as seen in her post below.

"Naka-Meowa in the UK! 🇬🇧😺@ShinsukeN," she wrote.

Natalya has not competed on the red brand since the Last Chance Battle Royal on February 19, ahead of the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. However, the veteran challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship last Tuesday night but came up short.

WWE star Natalya reveals she has a crush on NJPW legend

Natalya has recently shared that she is very fond of Hiroshi Tanahashi. The 47-year-old currently serves as New Japan Pro-Wrestling's President and is still an active wrestler for the promotion.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae in an exclusive interview, the veteran revealed that she had a crush on the eight-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Natalya also jokingly apologized to her husband, former WWE Superstar Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson).

"I'm excited. I wanna wrestle everyone. Listen, I would love to have a match with Tanahashi if I could. I know it's crazy and I came from left field, but I've always had this huge crush on Tanahashi. He's just so good. It's his confidence. It's his presence. It's the way he holds himself. He's so good. Sorry, TJ [TJ Wilson, Tyson Kidd's real name, I just said I had a crush on Tanahashi. But, listen, we're allowed to have little crushes! But the way he performs, he's the best. He's The Ace," she said. [From 03:41 - 04:23]
