Popular WWE star mocks Big E's injury
A popular WWE Superstar mocked Big E's injury following last night's edition of RAW. Big E has not competed in a match since suffering a broken neck in March 2022.
The veteran returned during last night's episode of RAW to try and help The New Day but his plan backfired. Woods and Kingston noted that Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, and Edge all returned from a broken neck in their careers during the promo on RAW last night.
Tommaso Ciampa suffered a broken neck several years ago and took to social media to mock Big E following RAW. Ciampa took to Instagram to note that he had broken his neck as well, adding to the list of stars who have returned to action following the injury:
"I broke my neck... Just sayin'," wrote Ciampa.
Big E showed up during The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration last night on the red brand. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have not been on the same page as of late, and Big E offered to become their manager. The New Day had no interest in the former WWE Champion becoming their manager and told him to get out of the ring.
Former WWE star comments on The New Day turning heel
Wrestling veteran EC3 recently shared his thoughts on The New Day's heel turn on WWE RAW.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws show, EC3 noted that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been doing the same act for a decade. The former champion stated that the faction always had a spot on the card, but it was time to evolve:
"As a performer, 10 years of doing that act, you get it and you know, 'I'm just rehashing the same old stuff,' especially 10 years on the road with the WWE," EC3 stated. "They had big angles and big moments and they've always had a spot. I think a lot of the time Vince is right with creative being inept. It's like, 'We need good guys to do something stupid here. Ah, send The New Day, whatever.'" [4:51 – 5:17]
