Popular WWE star reacts to Drew McIntyre's threat following RAW

A popular WWE star responded to Drew McIntyre's threat following last night's edition of RAW. The Scottish Warrior brutally attacked CM Punk last week and destroyed the bracelet with AJ Lee and his dog's (Larry) names on it.

The rivalry between McIntyre and Punk has become extremely personal on WWE RAW, and it has caused The Scottish Warrior to question his friendship with Wade Barrett. The RAW commentator attempted to stop McIntyre's heinous attack on CM Punk last week, and the veteran called Barrett out last night on the red brand. The Scotsman warned his old friend that he would do something about it if he ever got in his way again.

The former Nexus leader took to Instagram today to respond to McIntyre's threat. He noted that they have been friends for two decades, but they are clearly not on the same page at the moment.

"20 years through thick & thin. This is ‘thin’, I guess. #WWERaw," he wrote.

Former WWE writer reacts to confrontation between Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett on RAW

Wrestling legend Vince Russo shared his thoughts on the confrontation between Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre on last night's edition of RAW in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo stated that he had nothing against Wade Barrett, and thought he was talented. However, Russo suggested that the color commentator needed to be "over the top" on television, which wasn't the case with the veteran.

"I think a color commentator needs to be over the top. Listen, I have nothing against Wade Barrett. I think he's a solid talent. He's not over the top as a color commentator," Russo said. [From 42:56 onwards]

RAW General Adam Pearce interrupted the confrontation between Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett during last night's show before the two stars got physical.

Pearce announced that Drew McIntyre would be facing CM Punk once again next month at WWE Bad Blood. However, this time the two stars will square off in a Hell in a Cell match at the premium live event on October 5.
