Popular WWE star set to miss RAW; confirms status
WWE CCO Triple H and his team of Creative has three weeks ahead of them to set up Survivor Series: WarGames, scheduled to emanate on November 30. Meanwhile, WWE RAW returns to the Grand Rapids in Michigan tonight.
One of RAW's featured broadcasting team members is Jackie Redmond. The reporter has disclosed ahead of the show tonight that she will not be there.
Taking to Instagram, Jackie Redmond responded to a fan's post, on which the caption read 'Monday Night Redmond.' While Jackie did not give a reason for her absence, she sent a message perhaps with the intention that those expecting to see her may be disappointed:
"Not on RAW tonight my friends. SOrry," she wrote.
Needless to say, there are plenty of things going on for the WWE Universe to get excited about. Last week, Damian Priest won a Fatal Four-Way contest featuring Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins. Priest will challenge World Heavyweight Champion Gunther next. Whether the bout gets booked for Survivor Series: WarGames or not bears watching.
What can be expected on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW?
Gunther and Damian Priest wrestled their first one-on-one match at SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, where The Ring General captured the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.
The bout was marred by Finn Bálor's interference to destroy The Punishment. With The Prince reiterating recently that his issues are far from over, the title picture can get really messy in the coming weeks. Gunther will confront Damian Priest tonight on RAW.
During the aforementioned Fatal Four-Way match last week, there was a moment when Seth Rollins nearly took home the victory. But Bronson Reed made sure that did not happen. The two rivals will continue their program heading into Survivor Series, with Reed expected to address his actions tonight.
Another prominent angle on which the spotlight was put by Triple H & Co. last week was Women's World Champion Liv Morgan sowing the seeds for Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair's dissension. The Women's Tag Team Champions have challenged Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to a title contest tonight.
