Popular WWE star takes major shot at Chad Gable ahead of RAW
A popular WWE star has taken a major shot at Chad Gable ahead of tonight's edition of RAW. Gable was brutally attacked by the Wyatt Sicks in the final minutes of last week's edition of the red brand.
Despite the attack, the former Olympian will be in action tonight in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Triple Threat match. He will be squaring off against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman tonight on WWE RAW. Ahead of the high-stakes match, Reed took to social media to send a message.
He noted that he has to face a monster tonight in Braun Strowman, and jokingly referred to Chad Gable as a zombie. Gable was shown with a wound on his head last Monday night following the Wyatt Sicks attack and many have joked that it looked like he was murdered:
"Wait. I gotta wrestler a monster... AND now a zombie. Damn," he wrote.
Chad Gable and Bronson Reed have both recently failed to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn. Gable battled Zayn last weekend at WWE Clash at the Castle in a singles match but fell short of winning the title.
WWE RAW star claims Chad Gable deserves to be world champion
Braun Strowman recently stated that Chad Gable deserves to become a major champion in WWE.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Riju Dasgupta last December, Strowman praised Gable as both a person and a performer. He noted that the 38-year-old has all the tools and can hang with the best superstars in the ring:
"Honestly, someone that I see world championship caliber in is Chad Gable. If we're gonna say underrated and stuff like that, if I have to nail it down, it would be Chad Gable. He has all the tools. He can talk, he's got the look, he can go like nobody else. When it really boils down to it, he is an unbelievable human being, so I would love to see him get a shot at the big gold because he deserves it." [4:36 – 5:06]

Chad Gable was originally ruled out of tonight's Triple Threat match but was later medically cleared to compete. It will be interesting to see which superstar qualifies for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match later tonight on WWE RAW.
