Popular WWE star teases massive unfinished business with Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley made several enemies in WWE when she was the first Women's World Champion in the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, Zelina Vega teased unfinished business with Mami.
Rhea Ripley's return to WWE was a delight to watch as she unceremoniously had to relinquish the Women's World Championship on Monday Night RAW. After going on a hiatus in April 2024, Mami remained quiet and eventually returned to confront Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
In an interview on IGN promoting SummerSlam 2024, Zelina Vega teased unfinished business with Rhea Ripley. The 33-year-old star wants to finish her story by scoring a victory over Mami, which she believes she should've won at Backlash 2023:
"Rhea Ripley. I feel like I have a full-circle moment. You're talking about finishing stories, that would be the finish of mine. Being able to actually beat her, and complete that story that was supposed to be in Backlash [2023]. So, I say Rhea," Zelina said. (From 04:45 to 05:08)

What happened between Zelina Vega and Rhea Ripley at WWE Backlash 2023?
Last year, Rhea Ripley became the SmackDown Women's Champion when she conquered Charlotte Flair at The Showcase of The Immortals in California. Meanwhile, Zelina Vega became one of the first members of the new Latino World Order.
The two stars went head-to-head when The Judgment Day was feuding with the Latino World Order. This led to a title match between Rhea Ripley and Zelina Vega for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Sadly, Vega failed to defeat Mami for the title in front of her family and friends. The 33-year-old star tried her best, but couldn't secure the win in Puerto Rico. The former WWE Women's Champion believes she should've won and wants to score a victory over Rhea Ripley.
Recently, #PushZelina was trending on X as fans want the management to give Zelina Vega opportunities on the brand. It'll be interesting to see what the star does next on Monday Night RAW.
