Popular WWE Superstar almost suffers broken neck in major botch at Money in the BankĀ

The WWE Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match needed to live up to the hype. The women left it all in the ring as they looked to hold the WWE Money in the Bank contract for the next 12 months.

Zoey Stark was a surprising addition to the match and her exchanges with Lyra Valkyria in the opening of the bout almost left both women with major injuries. Stark dropped Valkyria onto a ladder and seemingly injured her arm, to begin with, before setting her up for a Senton-style move onto the ladder.

Stark appeared to overrotate and landed on her head, completely missing Valkyria and injuring herself as she rolled out of the ring holding her head. Valkyria continued to clutch her arm, so it's likely that she at least bruised it as she was thrown against the steel.

Zoey Stark and Valkyria were able to continue the match despite the botch, but if she had been a few inches further over she would have landed head-first on a ladder and could have been severely injured.

Despite putting her body on the line, Stark wasn't able to win the match, it was Tiffany Stratton who was able to climb the ladder and win the WWE Money in the Bank contract.
