Popular WWE Superstar shares inspirational message following recent title loss on SmackDown

A popular WWE Superstar recently shared an inspirational message on social media. The name who shared the message is former United States Champion Austin Theory.

The 26-year-old joined forces with fellow SmackDown star Grayson Waller to form A-Town Down Under. The duo won the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder match on Night One of WrestleMania XL to become Tag Team Champions. The SmackDown Tag Team Championship was later renamed as WWE Tag Team Championship.

Theory and Waller lost the titles to DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) on the July 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Ahead of this week's edition of the blue brand's show, Grayson Waller took to Instagram to share an inspirational video showcasing his journey from a WWE fan to signing a contract with the global juggernaut.

"Its a Journey if you’re about it🚀 #AllDayTheory," he wrote.

Former WWE Champion showers praise on Austin Theory

Austin Theory was presented as Vince McMahon's on-screen protégé and looked set to become a World Champion. However, since the former WWE Chairman departed from the company, his journey as an in-ring performer has been full of ups and downs.

During Bob Orton Jr.'s St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame induction, Randy Orton spoke to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter. The Apex Predator mentioned Austin Theory when asked to name a future world champion. He further praised the former Money in the Bank winner while explaining why he took the latter's name.

"It's hard, I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but Austin Theory is young and he's got a great look. I know where his head's at. I've had plenty of talks with him, and a lot of the things that I did as a kid that I maybe shouldn't have, the distractions that I was confronted with, he doesn't have those. I think he's just a little more gung-ho, motivated. He sees the goal, he sees the prize, he knows what he wants. I think he'll definitely be a world champion one day," he said.

The creative team has been teasing a potential breakup of A-Town Down Under for several weeks. After losing the titles to bitter rivals DIY, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
